a bad picture of yesterdays dust storm
this (believe it or not) is menindee lakes......note the size of the trees in the distance.........i was told by some locals that it had been dry for many years (only filling when heavy rains are recieved in queensland to flood the darling river) last time i was here it was full! i will have to see if i can find my photo's when i get home.
on top of the mullock heap is the broken hill tourist information and look out (broken hill version of eureka tower maybe?)
